Brazil´s Foreign Ministry pointed out that, “after the decision, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and head of the Brazilian delegation Marina Silva formally announced that COP30 will be held in the city of Belem,” capital of the northern Amazonian state of Para.

Silva defended, “a collective construction of an energy matrix that the planet and humanity demand for its survival.”
