Cuban Ambassador to Guatemala, Nazario Fernández, shared with the relatives at the diplomatic headquarters and after accompanied a representation of the medical brigade working for 25 years in th most remote and isolated places of this country.
Mariheta Cutiño, coordinator of the Cuban medical professionals in this Central American nation, conveyed a touching message for the 365 days lived in heroic resistance.
“Here, we are as part of the heroic people” of Cuba, writing the part of history that we have to live, fulfilling our internationalist duty, the doctor said.
As Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said many times in these 65 years, the climb has been arduous, but we have arrived, Cutiño stressed.
