National Science and Technology Awards Ceremony in Costa Rica

San Jose, Jan 11 (Prensa Latina) Costa Rica’s Science, Innovation, Technology and Telecommunications Minister Paula Bogantes praised on Thursday contributions by the National Award’s winners to the domestic growth and development in these areas.

On the award ceremony, at the Jade Museum, the minister heaped praise on the award recognizes the work of those who have dedicated their lives to the development, research and creation of new knowledge for the society’s sake.

For 2023, there were 29 candidates for the National Science and Technology Awards.

The National Science Award was granted in December to Georgina Gomez, PhD. in recognition of her contributions to the study of the nutritional status and eating habits of the Costa Rican and Latin American population.
