On a press conference offered on Friday, members of the UNE’s Executive Committee suggested to the Government that in order for learning not to stop, it is necessary to lower Internet and electric energy rates to 50% of their cost in homes with students. In addition, they proposed reaching agreements with large technology companies to acquire devices as mobiles, tablets and computers at affordable prices.

The UNE further requested the Government to work on risk plans so that educational centers know how to act in view of threats of car bombs, shootings and the presence of criminal gangs.
