In a press release, it emphasized that the US acceptance of the Iraqi Government’s request to set up a committee to fix the status of its troops would not have happened without the Resistance’s operations.

At this point, the aforementioned movement warned about Washington’s betrayal and its efforts to buy time to commit more crimes and plans to harm the people and the nation.

In this regard, it reiterated that the response from the Resistance is to continue the operations against the foreign presence until the reality of the US intentions and the seriousness of its commitment to withdraw the invading forces from Iraq becomes clear.

In this regard, it demanded the withdrawal of US drones and fighter planes from the national airspace, the handover of the Joint Operations Command to the Iraqi side and the withdrawal of its officers from it.

The statement warned of the danger of granting immunity to any foreign forces, as well as any commitment by the Government or its security apparatus to protect these invaders.
