In a statement, Rasoul stated that these attacks constitute a violation of national sovereignty, undermine the government’s efforts and pose a threat to the country and the region.

In this context, he added that such aggressions came at a time when Iraq is working hard to guarantee stability in the region.

At the same time, Rasoul assured that the results of the US bombings will be severe for security and stability in Iraq and the Middle East.

The Pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen, on the other hand, reported that the aircraft flew over the heart of the capital, the Green Zone, which houses the seat of government, parliament, embassies and government ministries.

Such raids confirmed the existence of unannounced U.S. activities related to the so-called International Coalition against Daesh.

On Friday night, the U.S. Central Command reported military actions over sites belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and its allies in Iraq and Syria.

According to the report, over 85 targets were attacked with fighters and bombers from the United States. The targets included command and control facilities, intelligence centers, missile and missile sites, drone depots, logistics and supply chains.
