In a meeting chaired by MPLA president João Lourenço, Rui Falcão, secretary of information and propaganda, was replaced by Esteves Carlos Hilario.
Lourenço also announced the release of Virgilio de Fontes Pereira from his responsibilities as a president of the parliamentary group and the appointment of Joaquim António Carlos dos Reis Júnior.
The Political Bureau also modified the permanent working commissions of the National Assembly.
Other issues addressed at the meeting were holding a national seminar on ethics and integrity in public service and analyzing the proposed resolution for regularizing the MPLA leadership in the Kwanza Nord province.
