Russian defense shoots down 30 Ukrainian drones on the day

Moscow, February 11 (Prensa Latina) Russian anti-aircraft defense systems shot down 30 drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Defense reported today.

According to the communication of the military entity, the unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Orlyánskoye of the Kharkov region, Proletarka, Peschanovka, Novaya Mayachka, Drúzhbovka and Obryvka of Kherson, Krivosheyevka of Luhansk, and Klescheyevka, Kamenka and Artemovsk of Donetsk.

The military department also reported that Russian troops repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the town of Novopokrovka on the day, where kyiv lost up to 50 soldiers in that sector.

In this Sunday’s report, the military ministry detailed that the Ukrainian army lost up to 855 troops between dead and wounded in the last day, most of them in the Donetsk line of operations.

“The enemy lost up to 325 soldiers (on the Donetsk line), a tank, two armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and a D-30 howitzer,” Defense said.

To the 325 casualties in the Donetsk line of operations, up to 210 in the Kupyansk line of operations, up to 150 in the southern Donetsk line of operations, up to 120 in the Krasny Liman line and up to 50 in the Kherson line.

In total, so far in the Russian special military operation, 570 military aircraft and 265 military helicopters, 12,096 unmanned aerial vehicles, 464 anti-aircraft missile systems, 14,959 tanks and other armored vehicles have been destroyed.

Likewise, 1,218 multiple rocket launcher systems, 8,012 artillery pieces and 18,469 special military vehicles were annihilated, the Ministry of Defense specified.
