On Thursday, Diaz-Canel, accompanied by the Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Roberto Morales, visited economic centers in the western provinces of Pinar del Río and Artemisa.

During the tour, the president emphasized the importance of increasing food production and overcoming difficulties with the Cubans’ own efforts.

Since the beginning of the year, Díaz-Canel has toured the country several times to check the work priorities for the year and to outreach territories with difficulties and contribute to their solution.
