A message from the company said that it is extending the commercialization, distribution, and start-up of modern high-tech equipment of several Italian brands for the production of ice cream and other foodstuffs in the country.

The commercial manager of that company, Gabriela León, explained that her entity distributes in Cuba modern machinery, supplies, and raw materials that allow the creation of facilities and small factories to produce ice cream in Havana and the eastern province of Camagüey.

Prensa Latina talked to the executive at IL Gusto Havana, the first Showroom ice cream parlor in Cuba, located on 28th Street, between 23rd and 21st, in Vedado, with an example of her efforts.

She commented that her company is the official distributor of prestigious Italian and Spanish brands that supply the island with modern equipment of this type (to prepare, produce, and pack different types of food).

At present, she said, in the capital there are also establishments where ice cream is marketed and produced with this technology, such as La Casa Rosada, located on Santa Catalina and Mayía Rodríguez avenues, in the municipality of 10 de Octubre, De la Crema on 23rd and 12th streets, Pistacho Havana on Lamparilla and Villegas, in Old Havana, and Diversión also in Vedado, and the other one is in Camagüey.

She stated that they are also in charge of providing training courses for Master Gelato Makers, which are sponsored and certified by Disaronno Ingredients and Carpigiani Gelato University (the only ice cream university in the world, created in 1946).
