The Executive Secretariat made the decision anticipating the presentation of a strategy in this regard before the National Political Table.

The president of the Front, Fernando Pereira, emphasized the need for the coalition to implement a “massive communication campaign” in order to disseminate and argue its positions.

Pereira mentioned failures of the current administration in economic management and containment of the fiscal deficit, which adds to complaints about the increase in child poverty, inequality and citizen security problems.

“This government has failed,” Pereira said. “It has had failures of all kinds,” he stressed.

The leader said that the Executive Branch opts for distraction measures by opening investigations such as the one regarding the construction of the Antel Arena stadium, which the National Prosecutor’s Office dismissed.
