President of Ecuador travels to the US and Canada

Quito, Feb 29 (Prensa Latina) Quito, Feb 29 (Prensa Latina) The President of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, will leave for the United States and Canada to "hold meetings and maintain an official agenda", returning afterward on March 6th, according to the president's statement to the National Assembly.

Although the official agenda has not been disclosed, the Foreign Ministry reported that Noboa plans to visit New York, where he will hold a meeting on Saturday with Ecuadorian migrants. Afterward, he will visit a mining fair in Toronto, Canada, where he will participate in Ecuador Day.

Since his swearing-in on November 23rd, 2023, Noboa has made several trips, even amid a state of emergency and with a declaration of internal armed conflict, which the ruler adopted to address organized crime groups.

Noboa has already visited the United States, on three occasions; Spain, for the International Tourism Fair; and Argentina, for the put-in office of President Javier Milei.
