Last Sunday, three armed individuals tried to break into the police station and detonated a grenade, as a result of which two attackers were wounded and hospitalized, while the third one was detained by the National Security Service, Armenpress agency reported.

“All three people were charged with crimes of terrorism and illegal arms trafficking as part of a group. The court granted the request for pre-trial detention,” the statement said.

On March 25, Armenian Interior Ministry Spokesman Narek Sarkisian reported that the attackers are members of the radical National Democratic Alliance.
