Biden and Netanyahu talk at times of special tension over Gaza

Washington, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) The President of the United States, Joe Biden, will talk with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, at a moment of special tension after the Zionist bombing that killed seven humanitarian workers in Gaza.

This will be the first telephone conversation between both leaders since March 18th, according to local media.

On Wednesday, Biden said he was outraged and heartbroken by the death of humanitarian workers from the NGO World Central Kitchen – one of whom was a US citizen – while they were distributing food in Gaza.

In a statement released by the White House, Biden said he will continue to “press Israel to do more to facilitate that aid. And we are pushing hard for an immediate ceasefire as part of a hostage deal.”

Unfortunately, the Biden administration, meanwhile claiming to pressure Israel, keeps military aid flowing to the Israeli army.

A report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute revealed that 69 percent of the total weapons imported by Israel come from the United States.

Many of these weapons are responsible for the more than 108,000 civilian deaths and injuries among the Palestinian population in almost six months.
