According to the Chile’s Cercal Group CEO Claudia Velasco, the possibility of attending an event like BioHabana 2024 is very gratifying, so I thank the business group BioCubaFarma for the invitation to learn about the development of the biopharmaceutical industry in Cuba.

In order to establish alliances with Cuba, a nation that is currently undergoing a technological revolution in the field of research in the healthcare sector, is a valuable opportunity for Cercal Group, a firm based in Chile with branches in Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia and with more than 1,850 clients worldwide, she said.

Velasco explained that establishing working relations with Cuban companies in terms of products developed by the biopharmaceutical industry and electronic devices equipped with the latest technologies represents a gain for her group, as well as for the other institutions that are participating in BioHabana 2024.

Cuba is opening up to the world in technology with great human values of its scientists, so collaborating and being part of the scientific progress of the country will enhance science in Latin American, and from our side, we will promote its insertion in international markets, Velasco noted.
