EMC and Colombian Government hold meeting in Caqueta

Bogota, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) The Day of Dialogue for Territorial Transformation, which complies with the Agreements of the 4th Cycle of the Peace Table between the Government and the Central General Staff (EMC) is taking place on Monday in Colombia.

The meeting, which is being held in San Vicente del Caguan, in the southern department of Caqueta, aims at establishing a working route to meet the needs of the communities for state intervention.

There have been participating officials from the ministries of Interior, Environment, Education, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Rural Development Agency, Territorial Renewal Agency, Peace Fund, among others, a press release referred.

Over 100 representatives of social, indigenous and peasant organizations and several authorities of the territory will attend the encounter.

According to the press release, the Day of Dialogue will last until tomorrow, Tuesday.
