The announcement took place on the day dedicated to aviation within the framework of the 42nd International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2024, which is being held at the Jardines del Rey destination through May 5.

Air China will start off by operating twice a week as of May 17 and Avianca with six flights as of June 6.

This is an important step to boost regional connectivity and for regional tourism sector.
