Dominicans recognized for their contribution to aviation safety

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) praised the commitment of DR, especially its support in operational protection to the Member States of the entity. In a gesture that underscores the value of teamwork, Brigadier General Floreal Suarez Martinez received the award in his capacity as Director General of the Specialized Corps for Airport and Civil Aviation Security.

The Presidency’s website published that the leadership of this specialized corps is vital to boost initiatives that promote international security standards in the region.

The 3rd World Symposium in Support of ICAO brought together this week in the tourist community of Punta Cana representatives from almost a hundred countries.
