According to the article, the French combatant is seriously wounded and receiving medical assistance in a health institution of the Russian Armed Forces.
The publication adds that judging by the nature of the wounds, before being taken prisoner the man’s comrades in arms tried to finish him off with a shot to the heart since he had been wounded in a leg, and they were unable to evacuate him.
The Military Affairs Telegram channel, where war correspondents publish, reported previously that the first losses of the French Foreign Legion in Ukraine had already occurred during the fighting in the Avdeeyevka area of Donetsk.
