According to the Ministry, once the inter-institutional coordination between the two countries had been conducted, 13 Colombian prisoners were repatriated on April 18, and the Ecuadorian government is waiting to repatriate the remaining 118.

The Foreign Ministry also announced that the repatriation process was succesfully done in coordination with the Interior Ministry and the Service of Attention to Prisoners (SNAI).
