Nicaragua to boost important cooperation projects in Russia

Managua, Jun 4 (Prensa Latina) A delegation from Nicaragua will travel to Russia to reconcile bilateral projects in matters of health, trade, investments, defense, security, and inter-parliamentary cooperation, as reported by Laureano Ortega, presidential advisor for investment and international cooperation issues.

Ortega indicated that meetings are scheduled with the president of the Russia-Nicaragua mixed commission and the director of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia, Veronika Skvortsovaya.

The delegation of the Sandinista Executive will also participate, next Thursday and Friday, in the 27th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“We will be there to monitor the trends in the economy and trade, within the context of the formation of the new world order that is being worked on with Russia, China, brother countries, friends, nations of the BRICS group, Iran, and with all of who believe in a better, multipolar and fairer world,” said Ortega, adding that the Nicaraguan representatives will take part in panels and conferences.

The delegation will include the Attorney General of the Republic, Wendy Morales; the deputy and president of the Economic and Financial Commission in the National Assembly, Wálmaro Gutiérrez; and the inspector general of the Nicaraguan Army, Major General Marvin Corrales, among others.
