Cubana de Aviacion returns to Panama with charter flights

Panama, Jun 17 (Prensa Latina) Panama is waiting for the first direct charter flight from Havana, operated by Cubana de Aviacion, which returns to this Central American country with two frequencies a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

According to the company’s press release, these air links aim to reestablish the airline’s presence and influence in the Latin American market, with the objective of increasing the more demanded destinations.

This is an opportunity for customers, since the Cuban company has been operating in code-share with the Panamanian flag carrier Copa Airlines for years, with whom it has maintained an excellent relationship.

Panama is currently one of the favorite international destinations for business and leisure, and a source of trade and connection with several cities in the Caribbean and South America, aspects that attract ethnic and foreign customers, the official message states.

The company added on Facebook that Havana-Panama flights will have fares starting at 331 dollars (+taxes) and a two-baggage allowance, in addition to the possibility of buying extra luggage on passenger flights, as well as in its cargo operations.

The company, which is celebrating its 95th anniversary, established a regular route to the Panamanian capital on July 24, 1974.
