This is the first time such a gathering has been organized, which aims to convey a message about the good fellowship between this Indochinese nation and friendly countries, so said Nguyen Ngoc Binh, chairman of the Union of Vietnam Friendship Organizations in Da Nang.

The festival, in which a notable foreign presence is expected, aims to create an attractive, useful, and professional playground for young people and children with passion and talent for performing arts, disseminate Vietnamese arts, and conduct a cultural-artistic exchange between the hosts and foreigners, he said.

According to organizers’ estimates, the cultural gathering will attract the participation of 300 Vietnamese and some 10 international delegations in two age groups: five to 11 and 12 to 17 years old, who will compete in musical instrument performance, song, dance, theater, and fashion, among other specialties.
