Minh Chinh made the suggestion at a meeting of the Socio-economic Sub-Committee of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), which he heads, where they discussed, among others, the draft report assessing five years of implementing the ten-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030.
Referring to the directions and tasks in this field for the years 2026-2030, the head of government called for absorbing the content “stability for development”, and innovating and ensuring leadership and progress in some fields, especially perfecting the institutions of the socialist-oriented market economy.
As for tasks and solutions, the Vietnamese government’s online newspaper reported, he clearly pointed out the need to propose mechanisms and policies to mobilize social resources, especially public-private cooperation, and external resources, both directly and indirectly.
He also considered it necessary to continue promoting three strategic advances and deepen the development of science and technology, innovation, and especially emerging sectors such as the green economy, the digital and knowledge economy, and the cultural industry, among others.
