The initiative called “100Bs (bolivars) for Cuba” will be presented in the Andrés Eloy Blanco Hall, in the Caracas City Hall.It is aimed at social and popular movements and organizations, political parties at the national level, and in general to the people of Venezuela.
Sources from the group declared to Prensa Latina that the campaign is targeted to summon the “solidarity and combative spirit” of Venezuelans individually and through their different organic forms. The National Solidarity Campaign “100Bs for Cuba” constitutes “a powerful gesture that reaffirms the historic brotherhood between the peoples of (Simón) Bolívar and (José) Martí,” they said.
Cubans and Venezuelans are expected to watch the vote that will take place in the UN General Assembly on the draft resolution “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.”
