Heavy rains in northern and eastern Mexico

Mexico City, Nov 5 (Prensa Latina) States in the northeast and east of Mexico will record intervals of showers and heavy to very heavy rains, due to the influence of cold front number 7, the National Weather Service predicts.

A note from the institution specifies that the cold air mass associated with this phenomenon will cause a decrease in daytime temperatures and banks of fog over the north and northeast of the national territory.

It will also bring northerly winds with gusts of 40 to 60 km/h on the coast of the state of Tamaulipas and northern Veracruz as well as in Coahuila, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí.

On the other hand, the forecast points out, a low pressure channel in the southeast of the country, together with the entry of humidity from the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, which will generate rainfall and showers accompanied by electric shocks in the southeastern part of the nation, in addition to the Yucatan Peninsula.

As a consequence of the above, experts predict heavy to punctual rains very heavy in the entities of Oaxaca and Chiapas.
