On the second day of debates of the fourth session of Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister Eduardo Martínez will update lawmakers on an action plan to implement the standard.
The parliamentary agenda also includes the submission by the Government of Artemisa Province of a report on the territory’s recovery following Hurricane Rafael, which caused considerable damage to infrastructure and crops.
Energy and Mines Minister Vicente de la O Levi will also brief MPs on the country’s energy strategy.
In this regard, the Cuban president recently reported that the state budget for 2025 will prioritize the recovery of the national power grid.
