The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights recently reported that violence remains a problem in Haiti, where 20 persons died per day in the first half of 2024.
According to a statement, 3,661 citizens were killed in that period, showing a higher level of violence compared to the same period in 2023.
