“It is a minuscule measure, since the brutal and inhuman measure against the Cuban people, of maintaining it economically blocked from 1960 to the present” is still in force, said a statement from the Political Bureau and the parliamentary group of the PPL.
It recalls that the blockade prevents the Caribbean country from exporting, freely carrying out economic transactions and acquiring machinery, medicines, food, technology and other imports at stable prices.
“We salute the resistance and struggle of the Cuban people and government, an example of dignity for the world,” despite all the cruel economic measures against it, concludes the text.
