Describing the current communications as positive, the former minister stressed the need for Lebanon to open up to both the East and the West in order to begin reconstruction, housing, restoration and institution building.
Speaking at a ceremony in honour of Hezbollah martyrs in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Qomati stressed the importance of ensuring the separation of powers and rotation in order to build the nation with all partners.
“We are welcoming, we understand the internal situation in Lebanon and we focus on strengthening the state to serve the citizens without problems with individuals,” he said.
The Lebanese leader assured that Hezbollah is committed to the resistance because it is the strength of Lebanon.
He reiterated cooperation with the national army, “with which we are fighting side by side to liberate the outskirts from Takfiri terrorism and protect Lebanon.”
On Saturday, Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem asserted that the resistance is unshakable, “still firm, strong, ready and loyal to the blood of the martyrs to liberate the land and Palestine.”
Speaking at the 13th International Conference “Gaza: the Symbol of Resistance,” Qassem said that no one will be able to exploit the results of the Israeli aggression for internal political gains.
In the midst of the enemy’s violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Hezbollah leader asked not to test the patience of the resistance and demanded that the Lebanese state act decisively against the Israeli violations, which now exceed one hundred.
