Broad attendance at international conference in Cuba

Havana, Jan 21 (Prensa Latina) The 6th International Conference for the Balance of the World will be attended by over 900 foreign delegates from 93 countries, the event’s organizers announced today.

In a press conference, members of the Organizing Committee, Héctor Hernández and Eduardo Torres, assured that registrations are still open, adding that confirmed attendants already exceed the 600 guests from 89 nations of the previous edition, including world personalities from the political, academic and cultural spheres.

“This forum of reflection has become one of the largest and most representative at a global level, with the addition of international institutions and organizations,” Hernández assured.

This conference will be a space for debate, featuring commissions, forums, workshops and master conferences, led by relevant figures and foreign and Cuban organizations.

Among its new features will be a Congress of Poets, in defense of life, a panel dedicated to Puerto Rico, with the presence of Puerto Rican intellectuals, and the 21st Meeting of José Marti Chairs, which has been held since the first Conference.

The coming meeting will commemorate the 172nd birthday of Cuban Hero José Martí, and the 130th anniversary of his death in combat. Likewise, It will address the worsening of the multidimensional world crisis, in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic, as well as the need to face the problems that affect humanity based on Marti’s ethics.
