Quintas Solá stressed that the planned missions are being fulfilled and that good training is being received, and recommended that in the logistics section, a detailed description be given of how all this mobilization is ensured, including what is related to food.

Everything must be done in this second stage of the exercise, and get the result that is to reject the actions of the enemy, both in the stage of the unconventional war as well as the conventional one, said Quinta Solás, who is also also the deputy minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR).

He thanked Deivy Pérez, president of the Provincial Defense Council, who explained the actions of the forces and means to face a possible invasion and create the conditions to move on to the territorial defensive battle. Later, Quintas Solá verified the actions of the light infantry company of the military sector, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and the territorial defensive device, against groups of special operations forces and counterrevolutionary groups.

Also present were Major General Raúl Villar, head of the Central Army, as well as leaders of the Party and the Government in the province, including Alexis Lorente, vice president of the Provincial Defense Council.

The objective of the Bastion 2024 Strategic Exercise is to strengthen the preparation and combat readiness as part of the conception of the War of All the People.

In Sancti Spíritus, as in the rest of the country, the University Student Bastion was held on Tuesday, while the aforementioned Exercise began on Wednesday and will conclude on Friday, to give way next Saturday to National Defense Day.
