According to the head of the Executive, both also expressed their solidarity with Panama, in a context marked by threats from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, about regaining control over the interoceanic canal.
She also mentioned her gratitude to the Brazilian leader for his solidarity with Mexicans living in the United States, amid the announced mass deportations.
According to the dignitary, they also discussed bilateral, educational and cultural issues.
“He made the call and I am very grateful. President Lula is an extraordinary man who is a symbol not only of Brazil and the progressive struggle, but also of Latin America,” she said.
