Bajo stressed that “this action violating diplomatic immunity is part of an imperial supremacist offensive in all fields and countries throughout the world”. He also criticized the inclusion of Cuba again in the unilateral list of states allegedly sponsoring terrorism by the United States Government, in addition to “the expansionist and imperialist threats of the US president, Donald Trump, against Panama, Mexico, Canada, Greenland and now against Colombia and Brazil after the mass deportations of immigrants.
Bajo told Prensa Latina that this is not the first time that Venezuelan embassies in different parts of the world have been attacked by elements related to these fascist practices, and he specified that this type of aggression became more visible since January 10th after the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro who won the elections in Venezuela on July 28th. “It was now Bolivia’s turn when we are in a pre-electoral climate,” he said concerning the general elections scheduled for August 17th of this year.
Regarding all these antecedents, Bajo reiterated that the world is witnessing a Nazi-Zionist offensive, which requires a strong anti-fascist response. “There is only one trench: we are against fascism or with this series of attacks against free peoples like Venezuela because the Bolivarian Republic marks the course of this world fight against fascist irrationalism,” concluded the political analyst.
