In separate meetings in this capital with the Japanese ambassador and the UN Secretary General’s deputy special representative for Afghanistan, the incumbent also urged humanitarian organizations to provide assistance to Afghan refugees.
Foreign countries should stop the forced deportation of Afghan refugees and allow them to return voluntarily to their homeland in accordance with international laws, Kabir demanded.
Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Takayushi Kormaya said Tokyo wants Afghanistan to achieve stability and emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Islamic Emirate (Taliban government) in this regard.
The diplomat also assured that Japan’s humanitarian and development aid to Afghanistan will continue in 2025.
