On X, Cuba’s Ambassador to China, Alberto Blanco, stressed that both countries also reject the imposition of a single model and interference in internal affairs.

The head of Cuban diplomacy made these statements during a meeting organized by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).

Blanco valued CIDCA’s work by accelerating the Chinese government’s assistance focused on the nations’ welfare.

The diplomat also expressed his country’s support for the steps proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, including the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

CIDCA presented two reports on international aid projects during the CIDCA´s event.

One of them is the “small and beautiful” projects that have benefited sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and humanitarian aid.

One other report detailed green development cooperation. China financed 184 projects totaling 300 billion yuan (more than 41 million dollars) in 75 countries between 2018 and 2023.
