“The masks have fallen! Imperialism has laid bare its interventions with political objectives in the world through resources from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID),” he wrote on his Telegram account.

The diplomat said the Venezuelan case is pathetic where Non-Governmental Organizations “with respect to the government of Venezuela, but very governmental with respect to Washington,” which created a whole network to receive resources with political objectives.

With which they caused the “destabilization of the country’s institutions,” he said.

Arreaza denounced that under the umbrella of the supposed Humanitarian Aid Plan, “they made disasters with funds from the same country that attacks its own people with sanctions and denies them the right to prosper. Shameful!” he said.

He stressed that those who did not pocket the resources, like Juan Guaidó and company, “used them in the country to finance projects with purely political objectives, to undermine the base of the Bolivarian Revolution.”

Last night on his nightly program ¨Con Maduro¨, the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the multimillion-dollar scam of the far-right opposition leaders with the funds delivered by Usaid.

Usaid officially said what we already knew, that it gave Guaidó; Leopoldo López, María Corina Machado, Julio Borges and Antonio Ledezma, 1,720 million dollars “for humanitarian aid,” he said.

“They stole with both hands, they put their hands in the pocket of Donald Trump, who was president of the United States at the time, and they deceived him vilely,” he stressed.

The president stressed they put their hands in his pocket to conspire and steal from American taxpayers, “but fortunately we knew how to resist, we defeated them and now we are going after them,” he said.

“One day we are going to put the hooks on Guaidó and that whole gang of thieves and scammers,” he said.
