“The increase in sources of risk and military threats against Russia was detected due to NATO’s increase in the potential of its naval forces to attack our country’s port facilities,” Molchanov warned at a meeting of the National Security Council.
The meeting also addressed threats to Russia’s critical submarine and port infrastructure and measures to neutralize them.
According to the official, NATO’s targets would include ships, large maritime oil terminals, railway crossings through which fuel is transported, as well as major bridges.
