According to the Russian Embassy in Cuba on its Facebook site, the performances will be in the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater, in Havana, at 8:00 p.m., local time, and in the Heredia Theater in Santiago de Cuba, at 4:00 p.m.
Founded by dancer, director and theater producer Nadezhda Poltavchenko in 2009, the company has already won three international festivals and national awards, the Russian Embassy in Havana said.
In Cuba, where they are traveling for the first time, the artists will present “Russian Miracle of St. Petersburg,” a program in which music, dance and singing are intertwined.
The show has already been seen by more than one million people around the world and has received excellent reviews from Russian and foreign audiences.
The splendor of the costumes, the beautiful voices, the complex choreography and the high level of the performances are the hallmarks of these artists from St. Petersburg, the Russian Embassy said in a statement.
