Speaking at the legislative session, the leader of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc backed the government’s stance on the right of Lebanese citizens to defend themselves and the commitment to fulfill the state’s responsibility to protect sovereignty and end the occupation.
For the Hizbulah leader, the points mentioned in the ministerial program are new, coherent and well-elaborated formulations, “but much of their content appears in the plans of previous governments.”
On this point, he pointed out that the country’s problem was never one of intentions, but of methodology of action.
Incidentally, he added that reconstruction requires speed in preparation and planning, securing the necessary financing and rejecting any political conditions.
Commenting on the Israeli aggression, Raad pointed out that the enemy could neither crush Hizbulah nor break the will of the people, and “all attempts to eliminate the party failed.”
According to the deputy, our resilient people shed their tears and sacrificed their dearest sons so that Lebanon can live safely and be protected from Israeli aggression.
On the occasion, he thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for what it provided and will continue to provide to Lebanon and its people.
He called on the Lebanese government to revoke the decision to ban Iranian planes from landing at Beirut airport, which was taken in compliance with Israeli accusations.
In turn, he emphasized pride that “our most revered martyr (Hassan Nasrallah) was a remarkable leader, and a symbol of unwavering commitment to the path of victory for the oppressed.”
The attendance at the polls on the day of the funeral of leaders Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al- Safieddine was a reaffirmation that the supporters of the Resistance remain loyal to their pledge, he pointed out.
