A report on corporate welfare, published on the official website of the Center for Social Investment Studies (Censis), prepared jointly by experts from that institution and the consulting firm Eudaimon, describes occupational stress as an epidemic with serious consequences for the country’s economy.
The survey showed that the percentage of employees unable to find a balance between private and professional life rises to 76.8 points, while 75.9 percent of them feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities and those who feel too much pressure at work reach almost 74%.
According to this survey, 31.8 percent of employees feel exhaustion and alienation towards their jobs, a psychological state that reaches its peak among young people, but which also affects almost a third of older people with more professional experience.
A total of 67.3 percent acknowledged that they feel frustrated by the lack of support from their employer, and 68.5 percentage points are added to those who consider that the company does not promote a healthy work environment, and in this situation, the percentage of those who receive psychological support rises to 36.7 points.
