The offensive actions of the units of the Northern group of troops resulted in the liberation of the locality of Nikolsky, where 12 brigades and two enemy regiments were defeated, the statement of the military body published on Thursday on its official Telegram page expresses.

The aviation and artillery, the statement said, targeted the enemy’s personnel and equipment near 25 localities in Kursk and nine localities in the Sumi province of Ukraine.

In total, over the past 24 hours, the Russian Army eliminated more than 240 Ukrainian troops, one tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, four armored personnel carriers, 17 armored fighting vehicles, 18 cars, and six artillery pieces.

So far in the fighting in Kursk, Kiev lost more than 63,800 military personnel, 382 tanks, 290 infantry fighting vehicles, 247 armored transports, 2,072 armored fighting vehicles, 2,229 automobiles, 491 artillery pieces and 52 multiple rocket launchers, including 13 Himars and seven US-made MLRS.
