The development of this sector depends on the government’s ability to adopt new and innovative practices and advanced technologies.

The Ministry of Agriculture, according to the Associate Times website, will also provide the necessary training, materials and technical assistance to facilitate the mission.

One of the main objectives of the Ministry of Agriculture is to promote the country’s agricultural sector on the world stage, and the authorities also assured they will provide support to mitigate the Caribbean island nation’s dependence on foreign products and improve the sector.

The portfolio said that between October 2 and 3 of this year, a fair will be held in which the experiences of farmers, peasants, researchers and the general public will be gathered.
