Fana Broadcasting Corporate informed that the announcement came after a meeting between Fisseha Yitagesu, managing director of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDG), and Kazuya Nakajo, executive vice president of JETRO, in Tokyo.
Yitagesu emphasized the need for JETRO’s support in attracting Japanese companies to Addis Ababa, particularly in sectors where their expertise and investment could be highly beneficial.
Nakajo, in turn, confirmed his willingness to promote Ethiopia’s investment prospects and help facilitate Japanese involvement in the country’s expanding economy.
JETRO, a government-related organization, is essential in fostering international trade and investment, especially between Japan and emerging markets such as Ethiopia.
