In the opinion of the national coordinator of the Labor Party, Alberto Anaya, the administration headed by President Claudia Sheinbaum is busy confronting organized crime and in the fight to combat drug trafficking, mainly fentanyl.
“We know about the operations that are being carried out, we welcome the arrests that have been made. This government is firmly confronting criminal groups to safeguard the security and well-being of all Mexicans,” he said in a statement.
The political formation recognized members of the security cabinet for their performance in the first working meeting they held in recent days with their counterparts in the United States.
Last Friday, the Attorney General, Alejandro Gertz, valued this meeting in Washington as very positive, because in his opinion it allowed to establish that this Latin American country complied with its obligations and “does not have to be sanctioned in any way”.
