The Ministry indicated that during the sea crossing, the Pacific Fleet ships’ crews practiced repelling attacks with air weapons and conducted naval combat actions with a detachment of mock enemy ships. A Ka-27M helicopter was deployed for reconnaissance and search missions, designated targets, and served as a spotter for artillery.
Crews using 100-mm A-190 guns and 30-mm caliber AK-630M systems conducted daytime and nighttime live-fire exercises. They reached all simulated ground and air targets.
The report stated that the ships also used a passive jamming system to evade a simulated enemy missile attack.
