In a communiqué, the union also condemned the dismantling of sensitive areas such as the Secretariat of Children, Teenagers and Family, and the dismissal or transfer to availability of employees of Tourism, Environment and Sports, the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority (Acumar) and Public Works of the National Directorate of Architecture, among other agencies.
In addition, it criticized a strong salary cut in several entities such as the Army Faculty.
In its message, ATE specified that, in addition to tomorrow’s demonstrations, a federal plenary was called ‘to define a plan of action and to vote on a new general measure of force’.
With this new wave of massive layoffs and transfers to availability, the Government is trying to put an end to essential social policies, destroying one of the central pillars for the containment and assistance of the most vulnerable social strata of our people’, stated the general secretary of that organization, Rodolfo Aguiar.
He also specified that this week’s protests will take place at the Social Military Institute Dámaso Centeno, in Acumar and in front of the former Ministry of Social Development.
“This action only corresponds to a Government that denies social justice since the first day and does not consider that the State must articulate the common good and promote human development.”
