The Zionist military, supported by armored vehicles violated the separation line and entered the villages of Majdoulia and Suwaysa, the sources reported.

They added that the incursion was carried out amid intense flights of Israeli reconnaissance planes over Deraa and Quneitra provinces.

Hours earlier, the town of Um Batna in central Quneitra also witnessed an incursion by Tel Aviv troops.

The Syrian interim president, Ahmad Al-Shara, denounced the Israeli aggression against his nation’s territory and urged the international community to exert pressure to stop these violations.

He considered this Israeli expansion not only a violation of Syrian sovereignty, but a direct threat to the security and peace of the entire region, and reiterated Damascus’ full commitment to the Agreement on the Separation of Forces signed in 1974.

He urged the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations, and support Syrian rights and pressure Israel to immediately withdraw from southern Syria.
