According to the institution’s director, Enrique Diego Arango, the earthquake was felt at 9:09 am, local time, at a depth of 2.8 km and with a 2.9 degrees magnitude.

Perceptibility reports have been received in the municipalities of Pilón and Bartolomé Masó, in Granma. No material or human damages were reported, the expert informed.
