In its statement, the entity detailed that the incident took place in the Los Sauces neighborhood, at approximately 23:00 (local time), when subjects on a motorcycle arrived at an establishment open to the public and fired indiscriminately against the people who were in the place.

As a result of the criminal act, three people died at the scene, two in the hospital due to the seriousness of their wounds and three were injured and are being treated, the press release added.

The communication added that Intelligence and Criminal Investigation Units of the Police of Norte de Santander, in coordination with the National Army, are at the scene establishing the circumstances of time, manner and place to find those responsible for this multiple homicide.
